The Office of 公平、多元化和包容 partners with students, employees, and community members to challenge institutional oppression and develop innovative anti-racist practices that foster an inclusive and welcoming space for all.

An affinity group is a self-organized group of 移行细胞癌 employees with a shared identity. These groups seek to support and amplify the priorities and concerns of systemically 非惯用的人民. Affinity groups also provide individuals sharing dominant identities the space to examine the negative impacts of white supremacy and dominant identity 文化.

Mission: Our mission is to create a safe space for women of African descent to celebrate shared experiences, discuss issues that are specific to black women in America, and provide opportunities for personal growth and healing while working in academia.

The 公平、多样性和包容委员会(edic) is motivated by a mission to advocate for issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion at Tacoma Community College while advancing social justice and challenging oppressive 各种社会身份和社区的障碍. 这不局限于种族， ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, religious affiliation and/or any other historically 边缘化群体. It also provides training and educational resources about equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism efforts at the College to its community members.

专业发展 partners with staff and faculty to coordinate and develop leadership and instructional growth opportunities through programming that promotes an equitable and inclusive learning and working environment.
